A near cube of a tank for a dense liquid

Eight feet across and eight feet two inches to the manway makes this one of the most compact shapes Snyder offers at 2500 gallons: it fits under a low roof, the fill line and vent clear a normal ceiling, and a short step reaches the opening. Snyder also moulds 2500 gallons in a narrower, taller shell for sites where floor is the constraint; this one is for sites where height is. The heavy duty wall is for the liquid. Brines, concentrates and dense process solutions up to 1.9 specific gravity need it; water and fertilizer do not, and the standard 1.5 rated version of this shell, which we also list, is the lighter honest buy for those. At the rated density the slab carries up to 39,615 lb over an eight foot circle, bearing on the whole floor, so the pad must be level and in full contact. Openings and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Fill through it with a dip tube to the floor and size the vent to the delivery pump; a dense liquid displaces air exactly as fast as it arrives.
2. Outlet. This listing does not state an installed outlet fitting. Tell us the drain size, material and direction and we will confirm with Snyder what ships on the tank.
3. Temperature. 140 F (60 C) is the service limit. Ask before a hot process stream goes in.
