A low 3000 gallon tank for water
This shell trades a wider base for less height: 96 inches across, 111 inches tall. That makes it the 3000 gallon tank for a lean-to, a pole barn bay, a site under power lines, or anywhere you want to fill from a truck hose without a tall ladder. Typical uses are a home or ranch water supply, livestock and irrigation water, a vineyard or orchard spray mix base, rainwater, and liquid fertilizer between applications. Before you buy: openings and fittings
- The manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. It is the fill and inspection opening and the vent, so keep it clear.
- The outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the pipe size and how you will draw from it, and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank comes with.
- Overflow and inlet. On a rainwater or well filled tank, decide where the inlet and overflow will run before the pad is poured, so water leaves away from the base.
