The lid is the way in and the way to look

• The fill opening: an 18 inch threaded vented manway is the only opening this sheet publishes. On a tank of this capacity that is generous, and it is the practical advantage this size holds over tall narrow vessels of similar volume that carry a small lid instead: you can see in, reach in with a lance, and check the inside surface properly.
• Reaching it: the top of the shell is at 73 inches, about head height, so a low step serves and the fill connection should still be brought down to working level rather than making a driver climb.
• The vent: the manway is listed as vented. That path is the wall's protection on a fast fill and a hard pump down; keep it clear, look at it whenever the manway comes off, and never blank it.
• The outlet field: it reads 1 Manway / Lid, which names an opening and not a pipe size, and the inlet field is blank. Nothing about a thread, a bulkhead, a flange or a valve appears on this sheet, so nothing of the sort is claimed.
