The certified drum replacement

A drum is what a chemical arrives in, not what it is dosed from; a 70 gallon tank holds a drum with room to spare and a wall that will outlast it, and at 41 inches it slides under a standard bench. Snyder's 65 to 90 gallon verticals

The 1007200 tanks are the other 70 gallon shell on this base, an inch taller, the N45 certified like this one, the N42 cross-linked polyethylene for hypochlorite and the other oxidizers, and the C26 and C34 the general grades. The 1550000C26 holds 65 gallons taller and heavier, and the 5690100N42 lays 90 gallons of cross-linked resin down to this same 41 inch height on a 34 inch base.

• Access: 8 inch threaded lid; filled by hand, wand or transfer pump, and vented outside on anything that fumes.
• Outlet: specify the bulkhead fitting for the chemical when ordering; a flexible transition to the pump suction and a small valve.

The white wall shows the level through it, so the operator sees the charge go down over the shift; a float switch for low level protects the dosing pump. Keep the lid closed against vapor loss, and set the tank in a spill tray; a 23 inch tank fits any of them. Label it so the fire inspector and the workplace inspector read the same thing, and strap it to the bench leg if the floor gets bumped by carts.
