The site decides this tank before the liquid does. At 194 inches on a ten foot base it stands in the open or in a bay with the roof well above the manway, and either way it is a sail when empty, so cable it to structure or deadmen before the first fill, check after the first windy week, and again after the first summer, because black polyethylene grows in the sun and a strap tight in spring is loose by late summer. Full at the rating it puts up to 111,339 lb on a 120 inch circle, so the slab is engineered per our concrete pad sizing guide, level, and in full contact with the whole tank floor. The manway needs a permanent platform with a rail. Black keeps light off the contents and runs warmer than white in the sun, so shade a heat sensitive liquid; it hides the level, so a sender at the pad is the gauge. A regulated liquid gets a berm sized to the tank.

What goes in it

Water, liquid fertilizer and the common chemicals polyethylene handles, up to 1.5 times the weight of water and no hotter than 120 F. Buy this tank over the heavy duty one when the liquid is light sensitive but not dense; the heavy duty wall costs more than a 1.5 liquid needs. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the base, under 194 inches of head when full. Flexible connector before hard pipe, valve supported off the pad in a material that suits the liquid. Tell us the liquid so we confirm the fitting.
2. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Fill through a dip tube and size the vent to the delivery pump.

The tank ships from Snyder's plant in Lincoln, Nebraska, as one piece 120 by 120 by 194 inches at 1,900 lb, freight class 300. At that size the truck is usually arranged by phone; if the estimator asks you to call, that is the size, not a problem with the order. Plan a crane or a large forklift and a crew to stand it up.
