The fitting and gasket plan splits three ways: DEF uses 316SS fittings with EPDM gaskets; acetic acid and urea solution use PP/PVC fittings with EPDM; and the remaining six pair PVC fittings with EPDM. Ozonated water is compatible at this SG with PVC fittings and EPDM gaskets, but it has no standalone compatibility page yet, so confirm it through the main database. Several common chemicals require a heavier tank than this 1.5 SG model and need the 1.9 SG version instead: ethylene glycol, ferric chloride, ferric sulfate, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrofluosilicic acid, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, phosphoric acid, polyaluminum chloride, potassium carbonate, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, sodium bisulfate, sodium bisulfite, sodium hypochlorite, sodium thiosulfate, sulfuric acid, and zinc orthophosphate. Many of these also call for Viton gaskets rather than EPDM (peracetic acid uses Aflas), so stepping up to 1.9 SG often means upgrading the elastomer too, not just the heavier tank. If your service is on that list, step up to a 1.9 SG tank rather than forcing this one. The mistake to avoid
