On a trailer, a truck or the ground

Width is the constraint. At 84 inches across, the tank fills a standard trailer deck edge to edge and is wider than most gates and personnel doors, so walk the route from the truck to the final position before delivery day. The 56 inch height is what keeps it stable on the road; the trade is that the trailer carries sixteen tons at the full rating, so the trailer's axles, hitch and tie-downs set the limit, not the tank. Strap it through the leg recesses, never over the manway, and use the support bands Norwesco makes for this tank wherever it rides on a vehicle; tell us the part number and we will put the right bands on the same order. On the ground the legs need a flat, continuous surface under the full 142 inch length. What goes in it

Dense liquid fertilizer is why this version exists; the heavy duty rating is the difference between it and the standard 2035 gallon tanks linked below. Check the density of the blend at its working concentration and temperature, then check the liquid in our chemical compatibility guide; the entries for urea solution, calcium chloride, potassium carbonate, phosphoric acid and sodium hypochlorite are the ones heavy duty leg tank buyers ask about most. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the end wall. Your valve, camlock or hose adapter threads straight in. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top, wide enough to fill from a pump, drop a float in, and get a hand and a brush inside to clean. Keep the vent clear; a sealed tank collapses on draw-down.
