Where it goes
This is a stationary bulk tank for a farm yard, a co-op pad or a treatment site. At 145 inches long and 97 inches tall it wants a flat, continuous pad with truck access on one side, and every moulded leg has to bear on that pad. It fills from a transport or a supply line and empties through the bottom outlet to a pump or by gravity to a lower vessel. What goes in it
Water, liquid fertilizer and the common farm and treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles are the normal loads. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the end wall. A 3 inch valve, camlock or pump suction threads straight in; a reducer bushing takes it down to 2 inch if that is what your hose is. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top, 97 inches up. Plan a step or a platform for filling and inspection.
