Norwesco molds this tank for portable duty, and the published 1.9 specific gravity rating tells you exactly how dense a liquid it is engineered to carry. That rating, not the gallon count alone, is the number that decides whether your product is a fit.

Will it work for your load

Filled with plain water, this 3,725-gallon tank carries 31,066 lb. At its 1.9 specific gravity rating it is rated for up to 59,026 lb of contents, which is the ceiling for the heaviest fertilizer blends and dense chemical solutions. Read those two numbers together: the 59,026 lb figure is the SG-derived contents ceiling, so you cannot pour 3,725 gallons of a 1.9-SG product into this tank and stay inside the rating. The rated fill volume for a dense product is lower than the full geometric 3,725 gallons.
