The mistake to avoid

The error that bites buyers on a dense-liquid leg tank is matching fittings and gaskets to the tank instead of to the chemical. The HDLPE wall may handle a given acid while a standard EPDM gasket or PVC fitting will not, so the table above is the spec to build to, not an afterthought.
