Confirm the exact resin with us before putting any chemical into service, since compatibility depends on the resin grade as well as the fittings and gaskets, not just the tank wall. The figures below are concentration- and temperature-specific.
At the 1.5 SG rating, this tank is suited to these liquids at the listed concentrations, and every one of them runs on EPDM gaskets: Acetic Acid at 60% with PP/PVC fittings; Aluminum Sulfate at 50% with PVC; Calcium Chloride at 40% with PVC; Ferrous Sulfate at 20% with PVC; Magnesium Chloride at 30% with PVC; Sodium Carbonate at 30% with PVC; Urea Solution at 50% with PP/PVC; and Ozonated Water up to 10 PPM with PVC. The one exception on fittings is DEF at 32.5%: it needs 316 stainless steel fittings rather than PVC or PP, so if you're hauling diesel exhaust fluid, spec your bulkheads and valves in 316SS. Always confirm at your specific concentration and temperature.
A higher-SG tank for heavier chemistries
Several chemistries you may want to haul need a 1.9 SG tank instead of this 1.5 SG model, so do not load them here. Those include Ethylene Glycol, Ferric Chloride, Ferric Sulfate, Hydrochloric Acid, Hydrofluoric Acid, Hydrofluosilicic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Peracetic Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Polyaluminum Chloride, Potassium Carbonate, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Bisulfate, Sodium Bisulfite, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium Thiosulfate, Sulfuric Acid, and Zinc Orthophosphate. Several of these also call for Viton or Aflas gaskets rather than the EPDM that covers the 1.5-SG list.
