The Snyder 1831000C26 is a white high density linear polyethylene vertical liquid storage tank, 60 inches across and 89 inches tall, holding 1,000 gallons at 200 pounds. Its wall is rated for a specific gravity of 1.9, or 15,846 pounds of contents against 8,340 for water, so it holds brine, fertilizer solution and coagulant as delivered as well as water, and it comes with a 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting already in the wall, so a valve threads in and the tank goes to work. It carries an 18 inch threaded, vented manway and a 3 year warranty, and it travels as ordinary LTL freight.

Four totes on a five foot circle
A thousand gallons is four totes with room for expansion and freeboard, and a 60 inch base under 89 inches stands under a standard eave with the manway reached from a step. The 1831000C126 is the same shell without the factory fitting, for an installer who drills the outlet where the pump wants it. Ports and access
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, installed; thread in a valve, run a flexible connector to hard pipe, and support the valve off the pad.
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 89 inches up; filled by hose, tote pump or truck through a dip tube, vented outside on anything that fumes.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
Polypropylene is the fitting for water, brine and most treatment chemicals; check the liquid at its concentration against the fitting as well as the wall before the first fill. The white wall shows the level in daylight; a float switch at low level shuts the pump off before it runs dry. Set the pump lower than the outlet so gravity primes it, keep the manway shut against vapor loss, and shade the tank if the liquid is light-sensitive. In a cold climate the outlet valve and the first run of pipe are insulated or drained; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
