The 2 inch fitting already in the wall means a valve threads in and the tank goes to work the day it lands. The 1710000 tanks are the same low shell in lighter walls without the factory fitting, the N48 a linear grade at 180 pounds. The 32677 and 1831000C34 stand 1,000 gallons on a 60 inch base at 89 inches for a site with height and no floor, and the 1830200 tanks hold 1,200 on that base at 109 inches, the N43 certified.

What comes on the tank

• Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, installed; thread in a valve, run a flexible connector to hard pipe, and support the valve off the pad.
• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway at chest height; filled by hose or tote pump through a dip tube, vented outside on anything that fumes.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

Polypropylene is the fitting for water, brine and most treatment chemicals; check the liquid at its concentration against the fitting as well as the wall before the first fill. A 2 inch outlet on a low tank gives a pump a flooded suction to the last few inches; a garden hose runs by gravity but slowly, because there is little head. The white wall shows the level in daylight; fit a low-level float switch so a pump never runs dry. Keep the manway closed against vapor loss, and keep the tank out of direct sun where the liquid is light-sensitive. In a freezing climate insulate or drain the outlet valve and the first run of pipe.
