The Snyder WV42 is a white polyethylene water tank that holds 1,100 gallons in a shell 86 inches across and only 53 inches tall, weighing 187 pounds. A tank that hides
At 53 inches the WV42 disappears behind a fence, under a raised deck or beside a barn without a screen around it, and 9,174 pounds of water on an 86 inch circle sits low enough that no strap is needed; a compacted gravel pad or a slab in full contact carries it. The 1710100N45 is the chemical-grade tank in this same low shape, 2 inches taller, for liquids denser than water; the 32531 holds 1,200 gallons on this base at 57 inches. Ports and lid
- Inlet: 1-1/2 inch.
- Outlet: 2 inch, at the base; a flexible connector between the bulkhead and hard pipe, and the valve supported off the pad.
- Access: 10 inch lid.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
A 2 inch outlet on a low tank gives a pressure pump a flooded suction to the last few inches; a garden hose runs by gravity but slowly, because there is little head. The white wall shows the level in daylight, so no sight tube is needed. In a cold climate the outlet valve and the first run of pipe are insulated or drained; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
