The wider-based 150
Snyder makes two certified 150 gallon tanks; this is the one on the 34 inch base, wide enough to stand without a bracket in most rooms, with a 14 inch manway that takes a fill hose and a float switch at once. The wall is sized for a liquid nearly twice as dense as water and certified against ASTM D1998, the standard rotationally molded polyethylene tanks are specified to; the HDPE tank wall thickness guide explains the D1998 sizing logic and why the vapor headspace is where a wall fails first, and the freeboard sizing guide works out how much of the nominal 150 gallons is usable once thermal expansion is accounted for. The 1012800 tanks are the narrower 150s on a 30 inch base, the N45 certified with an 18 inch manway, the N42 in cross-linked resin for oxidizers, the C34 in the general grade. The 1009500N45 is the certified 130, 12 inches shorter, and the 1008400C26 holds 175 gallons on a 29 inch base 5 inches taller.

Set the dosing pump lower than the outlet so gravity primes it, with a union and a check valve in the suction line, and bracket the tank anyway where a hose could snag it. A white 61 inch tank shows its level at a glance; a low-level float switch protects the pump. Keep the manway closed against vapor loss and the tank out of direct sun where the chemical is light-sensitive; a 34 inch tank fits a standard spill pallet.
