Eight feet across, nine feet three to the manway

This shell trades a little floor for a lot of reach. Ninety six inches of diameter is eight feet of slab, and at 111 inches the manway sits at nine feet three inches, low enough that a tall step or a short platform reaches it and a fill line and vent still clear a normal commercial ceiling. Snyder also moulds 3000 gallons in a narrower, taller shell for sites where floor is the constraint; this one is for sites where height is. The heavy duty wall is for the liquid: brines, concentrates and dense process solutions up to 1.9 specific gravity. Water and fertilizer do not need it, and the standard 1.5 rated version of this shell, which we also list, is the lighter honest buy for those. At the rated density the slab carries up to 47,538 lb across an eight foot circle, and the moulded floor bears on all of it. Openings and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Fill through it with a dip tube to the floor and size the vent to the delivery pump; a dense liquid displaces air exactly as fast as it arrives.
2. Outlet. This listing does not state an installed outlet fitting. Tell us the drain size, material and direction and we will confirm with Snyder what ships on the tank.
3. Temperature. 140 F (60 C) is the service limit. Ask before a hot process stream goes in.
