3,000 gallons under ten feet with a 3 inch outlet
The Snyder 5130300C37 is a white polyethylene vertical liquid storage tank, 96 inches across and 111 inches tall, holding 3,000 gallons at 600 pounds. Its wall is rated for a specific gravity of 1.5, or 37,530 pounds of contents against 25,020 for water, so it holds brine, fertilizer solution and coagulant as delivered as well as water, it comes with a 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting already in the wall, and the eight foot base puts a tanker's partial load under a ten foot roof with the manway reached from a step. The top carries an 18 inch threaded, vented manway, the paperwork carries a 3 year warranty, and the truck carries it oversize.

The low 3,000 with a fire-pump outlet
Three thousand gallons on a 96 inch base under 111 inches is the shape for a barn or a lean-to, lower than the 90 inch tanks by more than a foot, and the 3 inch fitting is the outlet a fire pump or a transfer pump wants, already in the wall so a valve threads in and the tank goes to work. The wall is sized to ASTM D1998, the standard rotationally molded polyethylene tanks are specified to, and a 1.5 rating is the middle wall, for brine, fertilizer solution and coagulant as delivered and every water application, with margin. Full, it puts 37,530 pounds on a 96 inch circle at the rating: a slab in full contact or a compacted, screeded gravel pad, with the empty tank strapped against wind. Two of our buyers guides cover this volume in other shapes, the first 3,000 gallon vertical tank buyers guide and the second 3,000 gallon vertical tank buyers guide, and compare them across makers. The tank sizing calculator tells you whether 3,000 gallons covers the draw, and the tank sizing guide covers days of supply.

The 8390000C26 lays 2,650 gallons down to 97 inches on a 102 inch base, and the 32288 is the water tank at 3,500 gallons on this same 96 inch base, 14 inches taller.

What is fitted
- Outlet: 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, installed; thread in a valve, run a flexible connector to hard pipe, and support the valve off the pad.
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 111 inches up; fill by hose or truck down a dip tube, and vent to the outside if the liquid fumes.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
Polypropylene is the fitting for water, brine and most treatment chemicals; check the liquid at its concentration against the fitting as well as the wall before the first fill. The white wall shows the level in daylight; a low-level switch protects the pump. Set the pump lower than the outlet so gravity primes it, keep the manway shut against vapor loss, and shade the tank if the liquid is light-sensitive. In a cold climate the outlet valve and the first run of pipe are insulated or drained; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
Applications
Well storage for a house, a barn and a garden, a rain cistern under a large roof, stock water on a pasture, fertilizer solution and brine at a farm, and a fire reserve of the kind the fire-water reservoir design guide describes, where the 3 inch outlet feeds the pump. One liquid per tank, labeled.
On the truck
At 96 inches across and 111 inches long on the deck the 5130300C37 is oversize freight (NMFC 156600) on a flatbed at a lane rate; the freight cost estimator quotes the haul to your ZIP; what is listed is the price before freight. A forklift with long forks sets 600 pounds on the pad. Fill it to the manway once, hold it, and check the fitting for a weep before the pump goes on. Mark the vent and the outlet on the outside of the shell so nobody caps the wrong one in the dark.
