Manway and outlet, then the interstice

• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway on the primary, 142 inches up; vent outside on hypochlorite, acid and caustic, fill through a dip tube, and size the vent for a tanker's unload rate.
• Outlet: both walls together at one flanged penetration, expansion joint after it, valve supported from the slab; specify the fitting for the chemical when ordering, and decide any added port before the tank is filled, because XLPE cannot be welded.

Two levels to watch: the primary, with a sender chosen for the chemical, since hypochlorite is hard on wetted parts, and the interstitial space, which is the leak alarm and gets a float or conductivity switch, a look into the port each shift, and a logged check each week. Fill day
