The heavy wall at 3,500 gallons

The 32288 is the same shell an inch taller in the general grade. The 8160000C26 and 5130000C34 stand 3,000 gallons on a 90 inch base at 127 inches, the first with this same 1.9 wall and a 3 inch outlet; the 32259 lays 3,000 gallons of the 1.9 wall down to 97 inches for a low roof; and the 8190000C26 holds 3,650 gallons on a 102 inch base at 126 inches.

Outlet and manway

• Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting with an internal siphon tube; a flexible connector between the bulkhead and hard pipe, and the valve supported off the pad.
• Access: 20 inch threaded, vented manway, 124 inches up; filled through a dip tube, vented outside on anything that fumes.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

A siphon outlet needs the pump or the gravity line below the tank floor to stay primed, and a foot of drop is enough; if the line ever runs dry, refill the tank above the fitting and open the valve to re-prime. The white wall shows the level in daylight; fit a sender read at ground level so nobody climbs for a number. On a chemical, choose the sender for the liquid, keep the manway closed against vapor loss, and shade the tank where the chemical is light-sensitive.

Inspecting a tall wall

A polyethylene wall ages first in the headspace, where vapor and sunlight reach it, so the annual look is from a platform with the manway open and a light on the top third, watching for crazing and chalk. The outlet fitting and the flexible connector are checked at every fill, because that is where a tank this heavy moves as the level changes, and a siphon line that has lost its prime is the first thing to suspect when the flow drops.
