Access and outlet

• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 177 inches up; filled by truck through a dip tube, vented outside on anything that fumes, and size the vent for a tanker's unload rate.
• Outlet: name the liquid when ordering so the bulkhead fitting matches it; flex at the bulkhead, an expansion joint after it, and the valve braced off the slab so the fitting carries nothing.

The white wall shows the level in daylight; fit a sender read at ground level so nobody climbs for a number, and fit a low-level float switch so a pump never runs dry. The pump sits below the outlet so it primes by gravity; the manway stays closed; a light-sensitive liquid stays out of the sun. If winters freeze, wrap or drain the outlet valve and the first pipe run; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.

Fill day

The truck's pump outruns the manway vent, so size the vent for the unload rate or give the fill its own top bulkhead and vent line. Run the fill pipe to the floor so the liquid does not free-fall and foam. Nobody walks away during the first fill: the slab edge and the outlet fitting are checked as the level climbs, and every delivery after that goes in the log with a date and a strength.
