This is an XLPE tank rated to 1.5 specific gravity. Because cross-linked polyethylene cannot be re-melted, every fitting and gasket choice matters; match wetted components to your chemical, not just the tank shell. The chemicals below are compatible with a 1.5 SG XLPE tank at the listed concentration when paired with the indicated materials. Two exceptions are worth flagging up front: DEF is the only baseline chemical here requiring 316SS fittings rather than PVC or PP, and every baseline item runs EPDM gaskets. The mistake to avoid: do not store a denser chemical in this 1.5 SG tank. Ethylene Glycol, Ferric Chloride, Ferric Sulfate, Hydrofluosilicic Acid, Polyaluminum Chloride, Potassium Carbonate, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, and Sodium Thiosulfate are all storable in XLPE but require a higher 1.9 SG tank, not this one — if you run any of them, step up to the 1.9 SG rating. One further exception: Hydrofluosilicic Acid also calls for Viton gaskets rather than EPDM.
