The Snyder WB81 is a black 5,000 gallon vertical water tank, 102 inches in diameter and 155 inches tall, that weighs 675 pounds empty. That is 195 pounds lighter than the WB83 beside it in the line, and it shows in how the tank is handled: a crew can walk it into place where the heavier tanks need a machine. It is molded from high density linear polyethylene, rated for a specific gravity of 1.0 for water and liquids no heavier than water, and carries a 3 year warranty.

Light to move, heavy to hold
Empty weight tells you about delivery day; full weight tells you about the pad. Full, the WB81 holds 41,700 pounds of water on a 102 inch circle, and that number is the same for every 5,000 gallon tank regardless of how much resin is in the wall. Size the slab with the ACI 360R-10 method in the concrete pad sizing guide. Because the shell is light for its height, strap it down before it is filled the first time: two straps over the top to anchors set in the slab, or a ring of ratchet straps to posts, so an empty tank cannot walk or tip in a gust. Keep a few hundred gallons in it through the windy season if the site is exposed. Read the weight column as wall thickness. The WB83 and the 32382 carry 195 and 201 pounds more polyethylene into the same volume, and the WB83 spends some of it on a stainless bolted outlet and a 24 inch manway. The WB81 keeps the threaded 2 inch bulkhead outlet and an 18 inch manway, which is plenty for a tank that is filled, held and drawn from without heavy pipe hanging off it. The 32368 is the low-roof alternative at 116 inches tall.
