On a trailer or a truck
At 128 inches long and 66 inches wide this tank wants a tandem or triple axle trailer, a nurse trailer or a flatbed truck. At 53 inches tall it keeps the load low, which is what you want on the road and on a field with side slopes. Full of water it is close to 10300 lb and more with fertilizer, so the trailer's axle, tire and tongue ratings, not the tank, are usually the limit; check them before the tank, not after. What goes in it
Water and liquid fertilizer are the normal loads, with the farm and treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed. Your valve, camlock or hose adapter threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top, wide enough to fill from a hose or a pump and to get a hand and a brush inside to clean.
