Ten thousand gallons, twelve feet across, black
The Snyder WB100 is a 10,000 gallon vertical water tank in black polyethylene, 144 inches in diameter and 161 inches tall, weighing 2,000 pounds empty. It is Snyder's wide-base approach to five figures of gallons: rather than push a 120 inch tank past fifteen feet, the mold grows to twelve feet across and keeps the height under fourteen. The outlet is a 2 inch stainless steel bolted fitting, the manway is 24 inches, the rating is 1.0 specific gravity for water and liquids no heavier than water, and Snyder backs it with a 3 year warranty.

A pad for 83,400 pounds
Full, the WB100 puts 83,400 pounds of water on a 144 inch circle. That is a slab, not a gravel pad, and the concrete pad sizing guide gives the ACI 360R-10 method for a load of that size. The wide base is the reason to choose this tank over a taller one: the center of gravity stays low, the 24 inch manway is at 161 inches instead of 183, and the tank is less of a sail when it stands empty. If 10,000 gallons is a target rather than a calculation, the tank sizing calculator checks it against your draw before the concrete is poured.
Snyder's 8,000 to 10,500 gallon verticals
| Part | Gallons | Diameter x height | Empty weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| WB100 (this tank) | 10,000 | 144 x 161 in | 2,000 lb |
| WG100, green | 10,000 | 144 x 161 in | 2,420 lb |
| 32034 | 10,000 | 142 x 166.5 in | 1,816 lb |
| WG101 | 10,500 | 142 x 170 in | 2,490 lb |
| 32463 | 8,000 | 120 x 183 in | 1,547 lb |
The weight column tells the story. The WG100 is the same mold in green with 420 more pounds of resin in the wall; the 32034 is the lighter 10,000 gallon tank at 1,816 pounds on a 142 inch base, 5.5 inches taller, with threaded fittings. The WB100 sits between them: heavier than the 32034, and fitted with the bolted stainless outlet that a tank feeding a pump manifold or a fire department connection wants. The 32463 is the 120 inch pad answer if the site is narrow and the roof is high.

What is fitted
- Inlet: 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting.
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene fitting with a stainless steel bolted flange, at the base.
- Access: 24 inch threaded, vented manway.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
A bolted outlet holds a rigid pipe and a heavy valve without working the tank wall the way a threaded bulkhead can; check its bolts for torque after the first full fill. Level on a black 161 inch tank is a job for a hydrostatic sender at the outlet, as the level gauge selection guide explains, so nobody has to climb to the manway to know what is in it.
Applications
Ten thousand gallons is a fire reserve that satisfies a rural fire district, and the fire-water reservoir design guide covers NFPA 22 sizing, the draft connection and cold-weather protection for a poly tank in that role. It is also the bulk stage in a water reuse train that pools roof runoff, condensate and grey water, per the industrial water reuse tank topology article, and an irrigation reserve sized with the tank sizing guide.
Freight for a twelve foot tank
At 144 inches across the WB100 is oversize freight in every state, on a flatbed at a lane rate that the freight cost estimator gives you for your ZIP; the listed price is before freight. A telehandler or crane lifts the 2,000 pound shell onto the pad. Fill in stages and watch the slab and the bolted flange through the first fill, following the hydrostatic test methodology guide.
