A white 87 inch tank shows its level in daylight; a float switch for low level protects a pump. Mount the pump below the outlet so it primes by gravity, keep the manway closed against vapor loss, and keep the tank out of direct sun where the liquid is light-sensitive. Receiving a delivery
A small delivery truck's pump moves liquid faster than a manway vent passes air, so the vent is sized for the unload rate or the fill comes in through a top bulkhead with its own vent line.
