Small plants that dose out of 3,000 gallons

Three thousand gallons is the size a small system buys when a tote is too little and a tanker is too much: a rural water district dosing out of bulk, a wastewater plant with a light polymer or a cleaning solution, a food or beverage plant holding rinse water, a car or truck wash banking wash water. Openings and what to check before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, 127 inches up, reached from a ladder and a platform with a rail. That single opening is the whole air path, so keep it screened and size it to the pumps on both ends. Fill through a dip tube to the floor.
2. Outlet. No outlet fitting is listed on this product. Tell us the liquid, the pipe size and where the connection goes and we will confirm what comes installed and what you add. Set the outlet low enough to empty the tank, mount the pump below it, and fit a low-level cutout.
3. Rating. 1.5 specific gravity and 140 F. Heavier or hotter liquids need a heavy duty tank; ask us.
