The harder wall and the flooded suction, both

Nobody orders this build by accident. It goes into rooms where a metering pump runs every hour on a chemical that has already caused trouble: oxidant feed at a wastewater plant, bleach or caustic service on a paper machine, bath feed in a plating shop where the line does not stop, reagent dosing at a minerals operation. Those duties punish a thin wall and they punish a pump that has to pull a lift on a hot afternoon at the end of a delivery cycle. This part answers both in one item. The cross-linked wall is the tougher of the two Snyder offers, and the stand lifts the vessel so the tank's low point sits above the pump: the suction is flooded by the column rather than a priming trick, a drain runs to a drum under gravity, and there is space beneath the tank to see a leak while it is still a drip. What it costs is the height, which has to clear a doorway, a beam, a sprinkler head and a light fitting between the dock and the chemical room; find that out with a tape measure before the order, not on the day the truck arrives. The floor carries 2752 lb of water at full through the stand's bearing points, so it must be flat, level and continuous under the whole 76 by 62 inch plan. Anchor the stand before the first fill. Keep it at or below 120 F and under 1.9 specific gravity.
