The N45 is the certified 1.9 wall, 300 pounds heavier, for ferric at strength and the heavy brines; the N40 is cross-linked polyethylene for oxidizers and the N46 another linear grade at this tank's weight, and the N48 the heavy-wall linear tank. Fittings and access
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 163 inches up; filled by truck through a dip tube, vented outside on anything that fumes, and size the vent for a tanker's unload rate.
- Outlet: name the liquid when ordering so the bulkhead fitting matches it; flex at the bulkhead, an expansion joint after it, and the valve braced off the slab so the fitting carries nothing.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

The white wall shows the level in daylight; fit a sender read at ground level so nobody climbs for a number, and a float switch at low level shuts the pump off before it runs dry. The pump sits below the outlet so it primes by gravity; the manway stays closed; a light-sensitive liquid stays out of the sun. If winters freeze, wrap or drain the outlet valve and the first pipe run.
The first delivery
The driver's pump can deliver faster than the manway vent can breathe, so the vent is sized for the unload rate or the fill goes through a dedicated top bulkhead with its own vent line. Run the fill pipe to the floor so the liquid does not free-fall and foam. Nobody walks away during the first fill: the slab edge and the outlet fitting are checked as the level climbs, and every delivery after that goes in the log with a date and a strength.
