Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the side wall, with a 2 inch reducer in it. Connect 2 inch as supplied, or remove the reducer for the full 3 inch port. Buy the valve to match the choice you make. Support the valve and the first run of pipe on their own so the fitting carries liquid, not weight.
2. Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top: the fill point, the vent and the way in for cleaning or a float switch.
