Openings, sampling and labels

• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 169 inches up; vent outside on hypochlorite and peroxide service, dip tube on the fill, vent sized to the tanker's unload rate.
• Outlet: specify the bulkhead fitting for the chemical when ordering; a flanged transition, an expansion joint, and a valve supported off the slab.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

The first delivery

The driver's pump can deliver faster than the manway vent can breathe, so the vent is sized for the unload rate or the fill goes through a dedicated top bulkhead with its own vent line. The fill pipe runs to the floor so the chemical does not free-fall and foam. Nobody walks away during the first fill: the slab edge and the outlet fitting are checked as the level climbs, and the log takes the date and strength of every load that follows; for hypochlorite the log is also the turnover schedule.

What the carrier needs from you
